Biography
Eu Jin is an intellectual property (IP) lawyer with over 6 years' experience, and is dual-qualified in England & Wales and Singapore.
His experience with IP laws in the UK, Singapore, and South-East Asia enables him to act for multi-national clients in a wide range of matters. He is especially adept at advising clients on IP-heavy contracts, IP commercialisation (in particular, the holding, licensing, and exploitation of IP by corporate groups), and soft IP registration and disputes. He was recognised by ManagingIP as a Rising Star in 2021.
Eu Jin has worked with clients across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, F&B, and consumer goods. One of his career highlights is appearing before Singapore’s apex court on behalf of a De Beers subsidiary, Element Six, in a patent infringement suit relating to the manufacture and sale of synthetic diamonds. Another highlight is successfully defending Luke's Lobster, a well-known US lobster roll chain, in a trade mark infringement and passing off suit which was recognised as ManagingIP's Impact Case of the Year for Singapore.
