About Me

Senior Associate Solicitor within Irwin Mitchell's Employment team. 

I give practical and straightforward legal advice on employment matters to a range of businesses and individuals. 

I carry out a mixed practice, including PSL work, contentious and non-contentious employment matters. I primarily focus on Respondent/ employer work, but also advise Claimants/ employees on issues such contractual terms, service agreements and strategic exits for senior employees.

I also provide support on corporate matters, such as due diligence and advice on TUPE, redundancy, harmonisation of terms and other employment issues on acquisitions, mergers and divestments. 

I have extensive Employment Tribunal litigation experience and regularly carry out advocacy work; including conduct of age, race, sex, disability, religious and sexual orientation discrimination, unfair and wrongful claims, breach of contract and whistle blowing claims, and claims under TULCRA and TUPE.

I have considerable experience in provision of day to day employment law advice to OMB/SME employers, and have worked with a number of larger blue chip and PLC clients. 

As a PSL, I maintain and update our extensive suite of employment precedents and knowhow, co-ordinate a national team update program and design and deliver internal and external training. I also automate internal and client documents via Contract Express.
