The Housing White Paper: Very Heavily Abridged

The Housing White Paper was finally unveiled, in the House of Commons, on Tuesday lunchtime and has dominated the news for most of the week.

Given that it was intended to be a comprehensive response to the housing crisis, it will probably not come as surprise that it is a bit on the long side. In fact, the White Paper is 104 pages long and includes a public consultation on its key proposals.

In a bid to save those of you who are interested a little bit of time (and make responding to the consultation easier), we have condensed the White Paper down into a five page briefing note.

The note can be downloaded from the Irwin Mitchell Website via the link at the bottom of this post.  I hope you find it useful or, at the very least, comparatively easy to read!
