It's not for girls, apparently?!?

It was disappointing but not surprising to see this morning the stereotypes and attitudes that still persist over what sort of jobs are suitable for women. Given some of the reactions the female engineers in this story have encountered, is it any wonder the gender pay gap and lack of diversity in certain industries I mentioned in my Passle yesterday still exist? It's especially interesting to read this in light of the anti-discrimination legislation turning 40 in November.
